Weekly Events

0-1 Year old Playgroup

- Every Wednesday 9.30am

Parents with babies aged 0 to 1 year can join our casual playgroup to meet other Mum’s (Dads welcome too) with similar aged babies.

Free of charge for ANZA members. Rp 50,000 for non-members.

ANZA Toddler Activity Playgroup for 1 year plus

- Every Wednesday from 10.15am-11.30am.

Water play, painting & play dough to name a few activities. (Nannies welcome but a parent must attend). Please register your interest at ANZA front Desk or contact Raechell Craig on HP 0813 881 58538. Don’t be shy help make this project a huge success. A small fee to cover costs of materials applies Rp20,000 per family (for members) or Rp70,000 (non-members).

New Greeting Card Making

– Every Tuesday 10am-12noon (in meeting room at ANZA House)

Why not join to learn how to make interesting greeting cards, or bring your ideas to the group. No experience or artistic flair needed. We will teach you! All cards made go on sale at ANZA House with proceeds to Medical Sponsorship. Free of charge to ANZA members.

Belly Dancing for beginners

– Every Thursday 10.30am to 11.30am, Members:Rp80,000 per session for members . Register at the Front Desk.

Salsa Dancing

– Every Monday 10.30am-11.30am at ANZA House. (All levels welcome)

A fun class where is doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a pro! Rp70,000 per session for members.

Yoga Class

– Mondays 1.30pm Join Now! Rp80,000 per class for members

Scrap booking

– Every Tuesday 9am – 1 pm at ANZA House. Free for members.

Tennis at NEW LOCATION

- Kemang Sport Complex (Jl Loka-Indah which comes off Mampang Prapatan.) at 8-10am:

Join other ANZA members for Rusty/Beginners Tennis on Tuesdays or Advanced Tennis Mondays and Thursdays.

Mah-jong

Every Tuesday 1pm – 3pm at ANZA House

Zumba

– Every Monday 1pm till 2pm and Thursdays 11am till 12pm at ANZA House.

Come and join the new and exciting Latin-inspired dance-fitness program. All levels welcome, it’s great fun!! Rp70,000 per session for members.

Golf

Bridge

Every Friday from 1pm at ANZA House. Free for members.

ANZA (Crackers) Craft Group

Tuesdays from 10.30am till 12.30.

No experience is necessary. Learn new skills or practice existing ones. Come along and meet a great group of ladies. All proceeds from items purchased go towards facial operations for children. Contact Kathryn Whittome at kfwhittome@hotmail.com if you are interested. New ladies are always welcome.

Book Club

Second Thursday of each month at 1.30pm. Next Bookclub is Thursday October 13th.

Monthly Events

Monthly ANZA House Functions

Functions can range from casual BBQs to fun themed costume parties or the odd quiz night.

Do you like organising parties? Why not join the monthly House Function team to arrange a fun get together each month at ANZA House. No need to have cooking skills as the experienced house staff do majority of the catering. Just heaps of ideas a bit of creativity and a fun attitude needed!

Outside Monthly Activities

A team of fun ladies organise outings to various places in and around Jakarta – shopping trips to Manga Dua to buy handbags or trekking around Bogor.

We are always looking for ladies to attend and share in organizing the various outings.

Annual Events

ANZA Bazaars

Held twice yearly in May and November at a large hotel venue. The Bazaars are a great way to see what Jakarta shopping can offer all under one roof.

If you are interested in assisting with the organisation this is a fun job to do in a large group. You would help organize and set up the hotel and stalls, take registration of vendors and help with obtaining prizes for the raffle.

Melbourne Cup Luncheon

The one day in November that Australia stops. Is a horse race. ANZA loves to celebrate this day with lots of champagne, good food, great friends and of course ‘the race’.

This is a fun event to organize, so if you are interested bring your ideas and friends and be part of the team.

ANZA Ball

Once a year ANZA organizes a wonderful evening event – ‘The ANZA Ball’. This is a fantastic night to dress up with your partner and come and experience our amazing event.

Lots of people are needed to help organize the event and also on the evening of the event. It is a wonderful event to be involved in so if you are interested we would love to hear from you.
