Our Mission
The Australia and New Zealand Association (ANZA) is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers which are committed to;
* Welcoming, assisting and providing a social network for its members in Indonesia
* Actively supporting local community welfare in the name of ANZA
ANZA was established in Jakarta over 30 years ago as a means for Australians and New Zealanders to meet and share experiences. Since then ANZA welcomes men and women of all nationalities and currently has members from all over the world.
ANZA offers a ‘safety net’ for expatriates coming to live in Indonesia by providing:
* Practical information and advice for newcomers to Jakarta
* A support network to help families and individuals settle into the local community
* A range of social activities, local tours, classes and children’s playgroups
* An important base and focal point for community social welfare work
* A networking forum for business opportunities
* An informative bi-monthly magazine for members titled ‘Berita’
ANZA and our future….
ANZA survives and thrives because of its members and helpers, who volunteer to help run ANZA House, organise events, welcome newcomers, work on social welfare projects – and because of the generous support it receives from the business community.
Through the efforts of these people ANZA is committed to achieving its objectives of supporting their members and families and offering assistance to economically disadvantaged Indonesians for many years to come.
